RS Aero Breathable Boat Cover - Polycotton

This breathable RS Aero boat cover is made from a breathable polycotton material which is a mixture of polyester and cotton.

The unique characteristics of polycotton ensure that the air flows through the cover when dry but when it starts to get wet the cotton within the material expands to close the gaps and keep the cover waterproof.

The boat cover is designed to be used when the boat is in the boat park or when the boat is being towed. The cover sits flat over the deck with enough room to store your masts and essentials underneath.

Why are Polycotton Boat Covers the best?

The cotton fibres in the polycotton boat covers blend and swell when they become wet. This helps to make the fabric more waterproof the wetter it becomes. As the boat cover dries, the fibres shrinks allowing moisture to evapourate away from the boat.

The 50/50 polycotton fabric combines the strength of the polyester with the breathable nature of the cotton.

Although more expensive than a PVC boat cover, the cotton gives the material its unique breathable characteristics. Other benefits also include:
